- With the pandemic over, we are looking forward to resume all our activities this year though obstacles remain. last year we were able to maintain our feeding program serving 300+ children with daily lunches, In addition, we provided tuition for 60) kids who otherwise would not be able to attend school.Funding for the program was provided by our many supporters and donors

- with the support of on_site volunteers, BFTO continues its humanitarian outreach in Thomazeau. Food packages were distributed to 100 families in need on a quarterly basis,Each family also received a small amount of csh as supplement.
- In coordination with the volunteer staff in Thomazeau, BFTO is planning a New Year's dinner at the school in late January as a substitute for the traditional end-of-year celebration which were postponed due to ongoing problems with shipments of toys and goods to HAITI.
2023 YEAR-TO-DATE-EVENTS
- BFTO hosted a New Year's dinner at Ste Therese de Lima Elementary for the benefit of its student body.Thanks to the School's director, Sister Rose, who took charge and made the event possible.Financial support was provided by BFTO.
- On April 7th, BFTO planned and organized our first food distribution to 100 families. Each family received 1000 Gdes for a total of $700 US.
with their food packages,Again, local staff were instrumental in making it happen. Thank you to Dr Pascale and to our on-the ground team in
Thomazeau for a job well done,food an monetary donations, transport and personnel support were pid with BFTO funds,
- Food distributions were made in July and again in November as planned and with assistance from our local volunteers. It all went well despite the existing adverse conditions.
